EP20: Reclaiming Your Intuition

shownotes

Once I had an employee who went through my personal things and made them public on the internet.

Personal photos. I'm talking unflattering poses of me in a bikini. My husband with a massive cushion down his shorts for a laugh. All good sport at the time. But not what  you want being seen by every single person in the office.

Now here's the thing.

I knew it was him.

Of course he deflected. He denied.

And so I asked him:

"How did you find the disk?" I said.

And he looked at the exact spot. Under the telephone I never use at the back desk in my private office that I never use. He looked right there and then he looked back at me.

"I didn't find a disk" he said.

So I sacked him anyway.

Because I knew.

And he sued me and I ended up having to pay him a considerable amount of money, but you know what?

I knew.

And that was enough for me.

This week we get into approving of that deep, dark intuitive hit.

The little feeling you got when you knew that you probably should not get into that car with that person. The tug inside that something about this new employer smelt wrong. The time you just turned back to have another look at something and walked in on your husband with another woman.

All of these things are felt.

And, I believe, are essential to your power as a woman.

This week's podcast is all about the practice of getting into approval with what you feel. Listening. Responding. And being willing to act on it. Tune in to listen
