Queen of the Witches
My mother
My middle name
Goddess of the hunt
Driven by the fierce
Derived from dog nature
Courted by fire and the
Holy deer
Fucked by
The wilderness
Ruled
By the moon
Bringer of
Fertile power
The one whose face you can
Scream in
As you birth
The one who sings
Against a drumbeat
The one with the women
At her side
Guarding the babes
From the nettles
Dancing deep in the
Woodland with all it’s black secrets
Running barefoot
In the bracken
Where the truth is always found.
Diana
Huntress of the stars
Queen of the witches
Call her name.
